Alfonso Doncel (Badajoz, Spain) is a multidisciplinary plastic artist and designer. While primarily identifying as a painter, he has developed extensive experience in sculpture, photography, graphic and corporate design, narrative, installations, and ambitious collective projects as part of his research activity. With a long trajectory in conceptual and cognitive art, Alfonso creates experimental, personal, and unmistakable techniques, often using relief over plane surfaces, and combining individual work with interdisciplinary projects conceived as reflective spaces. He has exhibited his work 88 times, including 32 solo exhibitions, across Spain and Portugal.
